Maine'southward Low Cost Spay/Neuter Programme (Help Gear up Me)

TheHelp Set ME program (HFM) distributes applications to qualified individuals who can't afford to spay their dogs or cats. You may exist able to participate in the HFM programme if you lot receive or are eligible for one of the following programs:

  • Food Stamps
  • Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Social Security Inability (SSDI)

Dear Animal Welfare Stakeholders,

The tremendous response to the department's Help Set up Me (HFM) vouchers and the contempo update to the reimbursement rate have led to demand for HFM vouchers to most outpace available funding. As a result, and as of Apr 13, 2022, nosotros are temporarily pausing the HFM program until funding is bachelor to sufficiently cover voucher demand.
